South African authorities identify sleeper cells set up by foreign militant groups

The South African Home Affairs minister Malusi Gigaba says the country’s authorities have identified and are monitoring sleeper cells set up by foreign militant groups.

Speaking to foreign correspondents in Johannesburg, Gigaba says the cells are using South Africa as a logistics hub.
