Hull City Association Football Club is in Kenya for two weeks on an official scouting mission. Two senior coaches from the British club are attending games and training sessions in search of the East African nation’s top players.
City Coaches Richard Naylor and Kris Blakeston will be in Kenya until the 20th of November. The two select 50 players from the 16 Kenya Premier League teams for training in January for a squad of 16 players dubbed “SportPesa All Stars” to play against Hull city in February 2017 under the club’s new sponsorship deal with the African betting firm, SportPesa according to Hull daily mail.
SportPesa is working towards developing Kenya’s football to global standards so that the country can compete in the World Cup for the first time in 2022.

SportPesa, chief executive officer, Ronald Karauri told the Nation: “‘SportPesa All Stars’ will be flying Kenya’s and indeed Africa’s flag when they play Hull City and we are certain that the best players will be selected for the training camp and the squad.”
Hull City will use the scouting opportunity to nab potential signings for January and summer transfer windows.
