Russia ready to take part in counter-terrorism efforts in Libya

Many of the migrants and refugees making the dangerous crossing through the Mediterranean begin that journey in Libya.

As Libya’s troubles continue, Russia has now indicated that it’s willing to help. Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, says Moscow would consider joining counter-terrorism efforts in Libya – if called upon to do so.
