Tour De Great Dyke: Cyclists cycle 225 kilometres to showcase Zimbabwe’s wealth

Read < 1 minute

A Zimbabwean radio station has partnered with some mining companies and local stakeholders to show off the country’s wealth.

The station brought together cyclists to traverse Zimbabwe’s great dyke – a mineral rich belt that runs from the north of the country, west of the capital, Harare, and on to the south.

The idea was to attract Foreign Direct Investment and create employment.
