South African’s government, businesses mull tertiary education funding model

In South Africa, government and business leaders have met in Johannesburg to discuss progress made in developing a different, viable funding model for tertiary education.

The county’s universities have been disrupted for the past 5 weeks, as protesting students  demand free education — immediately.
