Nigeria’s President heads to Germany to discuss security matters

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari will be leaving for German on a state visit from the 13th of October to 15 of the month this year reports Today.

Buhari is expected to hold discussions with Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel on the shared interests between the West African nation and European country. The two leaders are expected to delve deep on discussion on cooperation on security, the humanitarian situation of the internally displaced persons and rehabilitation of the north east Nigeria that is heavily affected by the Boko Haram terrorists.

President Buhari will hold trade and economic decisions between the two countries as well. The President will participate in a Business Forum in Berlin with German companies that have investments in Nigeria and other prospective companies in the European country
