Film lovers in Uganda have been treated to the premiere of a film set in their own capital, Kampala.
The Queen of Katwe was partly shot on location in Katwe, an infamous slum in Kampala. Produced by Disney, it stars Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o. And much to fans’ delight, she was present for the red-carpet event.
