CITES 2016: China praised for efforts to curb illegal wildlife trade

China has been lauded for its efforts in combating illegal wildlife trafficking.

This emerged at the CITES conference, currently under way in Johannesburg, South Africa. One of the major topics under discussion is poaching and the illegal ivory trade.
