Tanzanian coder makes finals of Anzisha prize awards

A teenage computer programmer who started an online advice service in Tanzania is the youngest finalist for this year’s Anzisha Prize.

The award celebrates youth entrepreneurship in Africa and the twelve finalists have beaten hundreds of applicants.17-year-old Asha Abbas from Dar es Salaam coded a website that provides youth with health and social education.
