Read < 1 minute

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has met with developers and local businesses in Nigeria during his first visit to the country.

Zuckerberg is looking to support tech entrepreneurs across Africa. His first visit was to Yaba, a tech enclave in Nigeria’s sprawling commercial capital, where tech start-ups are creating a buzz. During a question-and-answer session with developers, Zuckerberg said Facebook wants to make sure the social networking site loads quickly for people all over the world, no matter the Internet service they use.
