Somali’s minister for health, Mohamed Haji Abdinoor said that they are considering taking seriously injured patients abroad for further treatment.

Speaking at a press conference at the hospital he said that they were ready to airlift the seriously injured patients outside the country for specialized treatment. Addinoor was accompanied by some government officials.  Radio Dalsan reports

At least 22 people have been killed and more than 55 others injured in truck car bomb that exploded near SYL hotel in front of Somali presidential palace in Mogadishu Tuesday.

Some of the injured, who included government officials, MPs, a minister, journalists and civilians, were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. A number of the injured are due to be taken abroad for specialized treatment.
