
Nigeria’s President Buhari appoints board members for NPA, NIMASA
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of members of the Governing Boards of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
A press statement signed by Bolaji Adebiyi, Director, Press, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation gave the names of the new appointees for the NPA as Emmanuel Olajide Adesoye, Board Chairman. Other members of the board are Supo Shasore, Suleiman Ibrahim Halilu, Constance Harry Marshal, Umar Shu’aibu, Charles Efe Emukowhate Sylvester, Hadiza Bala Usman, Mohammed Bello Koko, Dr. Sekonte Davis, Professor Idris Abubakar and Mrs. I. J. Uche-Okoro.
The Board of NIMASA has Major General Jonathan India Garba as Chairman. Other board members are Asekomhe Oaakhia Kenneth, Mohammed Gidado Muazu, Hon. Barrister Ebele Obi, S. U. Galadanchi, Ms Nene Betty Dike, Dakuku Peterside, Rear Admiral Adeniyi Osinowo, Bashir Yusuf Jamoh, Joseph Oluwarotimi Fashakin and Gambo Ahmed.
