Hundreds of tech start-ups have gathered in Johannesburg for the fifth Demo Africa conference.

The event brings together young entrepreneurs, mentors and big investors. More than 7-hundred entrepreneurs from 27 countries on the continent applied for a stand at Demo Africa. But only the top 30 creative and innovative technology companies have been chosen. They have two days to impress investors and secure funding for their ventures. Last year, the event raised 4 billion dollars for new projects.

This is the first time Demo Africa is being held in South Africa.
