Video: Rhumba maestro Koffi Olomide assaults dancer in front of police officers
Congolese Rhumba maestro Koffi Olomide was caught on camera assaulting one of his dancers just after landing in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, ahead of a concert he is scheduled to perform in over the weekend.
The 60-year-old landed at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport to a glamorous reception by a group of Kenyan fans that had gone to receive him.
Koffi is accompanied by a group of dancers that he will be performing with in his concert.
In the short video, the rhumba maestro is seen approaching the group of dancers before viciously kicking one of them in the belly right under the noses of police officers that were present.
The victim is said to have been arguing with Koffi’s wife, who also accompanied him to Nairobi.
After the incident, Koffi was calmed down by the police officers before he was ushered to his car that immediately sped off.
