Suspected al-Shabaab recruiter kills four policemen at Kenyan station

A suspected recruiter for Somalia-based Islamists terror group al-Shabaab on Thursday shot dead at least four police officers in a police station where he was being held after snatching a gun from one of the officers.
The incident took place in Kapenguria town located to the western side of the country near the Ugandan border.
The suspect had been detained on Wednesday for interrogation, but during a routine call on Thursday morning snatched the weapon and shot the police officers.
Local media report that the suspect locked himself inside one of the rooms but the police are trying to get to him.
