Yoruba king visits Washington to promote local culture

The leader of the Yoruba people, the Ooni of Ife, has been undertaking a tour of the United States, heading up a huge delegation of the National Council of Traditional Leaders of Nigeria.

The recently inaugurated King, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is aiming to improve cultural understanding of his people’s traditional culture, while also seeking new US investment opportunities.
