Mali authorities detain suspected mastermind of hotel attack
Authorities in Mali say they’ve arrested the suspected mastermind of November’s attack on the Radisson Blu hotel in Bamako.
22 people were killed when the attackers besieged the building. And that includes the two attackers.
Security forces detained a Mauritanian man in the Malian capital. He’s known as Ibrahim Number 10.
Authorities say he was planning another attack in the country against foreigners.
Meanwhile, three kidnapped Red Cross workers have been freed by Ansar Dine militants in Mali. The ICRC has welcomed their release – and says they are safe.
