The Cape Town Chinese Community & Police Forum has successfully launched the 3rd Chinese language training course for the local police officers.
The purpose is to strengthen effective communication between local police and members of the local Chinese community.
Public security has been a recent issue for Chinese residents and merchants based in South Africa.
Local police say they are keen to embark on the training, to help them break through the language and culture barriers.
