Kenya’s high-speed rail almost 70% complete
Construction of phase one of Kenya’s high-speed rail or the Standard Gauge Railway is now 70 percent complete.
The railway, part of East Africa’s Northern corridor, is expected to link Kenya and Uganda and later on South Sudan, the Democratic republic of Congo and Northern Tanzania.
The project has not been without controversy but the Kenyan government says that most have been mitigated.
