Former DR Congo vice president found guilty of war crimes

Former Democratic Republic of Congo’s Vice President Jean-Pierre Bemba has been convicted of 2 counts of war crimes and 3 counts of crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court.

The crimes were committed by Movement for the Liberation of Congo forces under his control in the Central African Republic between 2002 and 2003.
