Read < 1 minute

The Africa 2016 business forum opened on Saturday morning, in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el Sheikh.

7 African leaders from Kenya, Nigeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan, Ethiopia and Egypt are at the forum.

They will discuss steps to facilitate the merging of Africa’s 3 main economic blocs into one Continental Free Trade Area.

The forum will also bring together the private sector with governments, to help promote intra-trade and investments.

But in addition to business, politics will also be on the agenda on the sidelines of the forum.
