Kenyans on Twitter give hilarious ways of spending Valentines

February 14 is hours away and most people, well, most lovers, can’t wait for the day to come.

Valentine’s Day, although not an official holiday, is observed in most countries. It’s the day when lovers express their affection towards their partners, and shower them with various gifts to boost their romantic relationships.

Kenyans have not been left behind. Most of them are eagerly awaiting the day so that they can show their love to their better halves.

Other though, those on social media to be precise, don’t understand the anxiety. #KOT (meaning Kenyans On Twitter) as they are known, have taken to twitter to brush the day aside, even going ahead to give tips on how one can avoid the expenses that come with the celebrations.

Most of them do not see any logic in spending lots of money in showing one’s love to their partner.

As always, under the hashtag , the #KOT have come up with hilarious memes and posts dismissing the day, saying what  they’d rather do when it comes.
