Four arrested for trying to bomb Mugabe’s farm
Four people have been arrested in Zimbabwe for allegedly trying to petrol bomb the President’s farm.
Zimbabwe’s People’s Front political party president Pwen Kuchata with three other party members were brought before Harare Provincial Magistrate under heavy police guard. The individuals have been charged with possession of weaponry for sabotage and money laundering for terrorism purposes.
The Judge remanded the four tp Februaru 8th, advising them to apply for bail at the High Court.
The police were tipped off the four’s intentions, the police proceeded to lay an ambush on the four and nabbed them 100 metres away from the Gushungo Dairy Estate in Mazowe at 10PM.
Police recovered four Molotov Cocktails (Bombs) made of petrol, ammonium nitrate, nails and sand in 750 milimetres Chateau empty bottles. Also recovered was Zimbabwe People’s Front Party manifesto, party constitution and documents relating to party activities according to the local newspaper The Herald
