Tunisia Identifies 3 Bomb Suspects, Offers rewards for their capture
Tunisia has identified three suspects of Tuesday’s suicide bombing that killed 12 presidential guards and has offered a financial reward for information leading to their arrest.
The Interior Ministry issued a statement on Friday identitfying the wanted men as Hassan Ben Khalifa Bouchiba, Houcine Ben Khalifa Bouchiba and Walid Ben Mohamed Ali Yousfi.
Jihadist group Islamic State claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s suicide bombing that happened in the centre of Tunis.
The bomber was identified as a 26-year old Tunisian travelling salesman Houssam Abdelli.
IS also claimed responsibility for two pther attacks earlier this year at the National Bardo Museum in Tunis and on a hotel near the Mediterranean resort of Sousse that killed a total of 60 people, all but one of them foreign terrorists.
Tunisia, the cradle of the Arab Spring uprisings, has been plagued by Islamist violence since the 2011 overthrow of longtime dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
