More than 150 well-known enterprises and brands from dozens of municipalities and provinces of China are participating in the Expo in Ethiopia, which is said to promote exchanges and cooperation between businesses from China, Ethiopia, and other African nations and boost development of bilateral and multilateral business relations.
The Expo displays a range of Chinese commodities and services such as agriculture machinery , leather processing, food processing and packaging, engineering as well as automobiles, hardware and construction materials and light industry consumption goods. There are also home appliances and consumer electronics as well as products from the fields of electric power, rail transportation, petrochemicals, metallurgy and mining among others in the expo.
China’s cooperation with Ethiopia in development of railway, energy and water infrastructure has contributed to the economic growth in Ethiopia according to the Ethiopian government.
