Zimbabwe to vaccinate up to 30% of the population against Measles
A mass vaccination drive is under way in Zimbabwe. Authorities are aiming to vaccinate around 30 percent of the population – using a combination jab for the first time.
Zimbabwe aims to vaccinate 5-million children, aged 9 months to 15 years – against measles and Rubella.
Rubella can lead to birth defects in unborn children and cases are on the rise in Zimbabwe.
