EU bans Nigeria bean’s exports

Europe’s Food Safety Authority  has banned imports from Nigeria due to concerns over high levels of pesticides. The Authority also released a warning ove the quality of sesame seeds, melon seeds , palm oil and dried fish.

European Union ban spells hard times for local farmers and grain sellers in Nigeria. However Nigeria’s stake holders in the industry believe that this step will encourage policy reforms in the country.
