Police in South Africa have arrested a Danish citizen after pieces of female genitalia were found in his residence.

The man was arrested on Thursday at his home, where the police found 21 pieces of female genitalia stored in plastic bags in a freezer.

The police also discovered surgical tools and anaesthetic drugs in the man’s house.

A victim of the 58-year old man is said to have alerted the police of the man’s dealings.

The police have now asked any other women assaulted by the man to come forward.

The Dane is being held in police custody and will appear in court on Monday on charges of sexual assault.

The police have enlisted the help of forensic experts to help them gather evidence against the man, and could also find other criminal charges.

His motives are still not known. It is also not known whether the body parts are from 21 different women, how the man allegedly committed the assaults or if the affected women are dead or still alive.
