You might soon be able to ‘Dislike’ posts on Facebook.

Facebook founder and Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will soon launch a dislike button.

For long, many Facebook users have campaigned for a ‘Dislike” button to be included in the social site.

Well, their wish may soon be granted if the announcement by the Facebook Chief Executive is anything to go by.

Speaking on Tuesday during a question-and-answer session streamed live on Facebook on Tuesday, Zuckerberg confirmed that the company is working on the

‘Dislike’ button, saying that it was testing alternatives to the ‘Like’ button.

He however clarified that the post will primarily be used to show empathy for posts that seem inappropriate to ‘Like’, such as news of deaths or natural disasters.

No release date was however issued.
