Final touches are being applied on the runway of the Bulla Burdo Airport, in Hiiran, Somalia.The airport’s renovation is aimed at facilitating commercial and humanitarian access to the town, which had been obstructed by Al Shabaab activities in the region. Thanks to AMISOM troops from Djibouti, matters in this town are changing for the better.
