Comic book fans and lovers have created the first library dedicated to graphic novels, mangas and comics in Senegal. The BD Passion Dakar, hosts mainly young readers six days a week, offering low-cost masterpieces generally hard to find for fans in the country.

So far the library has about 100 hundred members and lots of parents are supportive of their children spending time here readings comics as it serves as an alternative to television.

The comic library also caters to older generations who come to look for comics they read during their childhood.
