Kenya celebrated the international world rangers day for the first time this year. A number of Rangers were feted at a ceremony in Voi in recognition of the work they have been doing in protecting Kenya’s heritage. But even as the country appreciated the role played by Rangers many at the ceremony called for more effort to be made in ensuring Rangers are well equipped to carry out their work well even as poachers get more sophisticated.
