A coffee shop called Truth Coffee in South Africa has recently been named one of the best coffee shops in the world. An accolade which the owners of the cafe say, took many years of hard, grinding work to achieve.

Coffee Roaster David Donde and his co-owners have been in the coffee business for years. They opened the doors to Truth Coffee in the Cape Town City Centre in 2012. The coffee business has been an instant success ever since.

The decor and staff uniforms take one back to a fantasy, 19th Century science fiction era. The so-called steampunk era, inspired by industrial steam-powered machinery and technology. David is particularly proud of two pieces of machinery, including the Colossus Coffee Roaster
