Ethiopia’s leather industry has significantly grown over the last few years. The country is now producing high quality leather goods attracting global demand. This has partly been attributed to the country being home to some of the largest herds in the continent. Some local manufacturers and exporters however fear that they will struggle to compete as overseas companies set up shop in the country.
