COSAFA Cup 2015 Ghana, Malawi Fail To Progress
Mauritius have sacked coach Didier Six, following a disastrous spell at the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations tournament, during which he got sent off and refused to speak to the media. Meanwhile, a wind of change continues to sweep through the tournament, which will have a new winner this year. The Stars of Ghana were handed a 2-1 defeat by Madagascar on Monday. Randriamanjaka opened the scoring for Madagascar, before Daniel Darkwah levelled for Ghana. A late second half goal from Simouri sealed the win for Madagascar. Mozambique managed to clinch a spot in the semi-finals, after they defeated Malawi 5-4 on penalties, after it ended 2-2 after 90 minutes. Monday results means Namibia will take on Madagascar in Thursday’s first semi-final, followed by Botswana against Mozambique.
