Nigeria students targeted in suicide attack in Potiskum

Two militants have attacked a business college in Potiskum in the north-eastern Nigerian state of Yobe.

At least six students were seriously injured by gunfire, but dozens more were hurt as they tried to escape.

The gunman was accompanied by a suicide bomber, who blew himself up in the car park.

The attack in Potiskum comes as Boko Haram is facing renewed pressure.

The attack sparked a lot of panic and students jumped from windows to escape. Several were injured and taken to hospital.

One of the gunman who survived is in police custody for questioning.

Boko Haram has been a threat in Nigeria, mostly kidnapping and carrying out its attacks in schools.

The group has kidnapped so many girls and women and has killed thousands in its attacks.
