It’s been called one of the biggest boxing fights in history and both fighters Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are in the final stages of their preparations for their world welterweight unification fight in Las Vegas on Saturday. The fight which has been five years in the making, will feature a duel between the defence-minded Mayweather and the aggressive Pacquiao, the biggest drawcards of their generation. Saturday’s bout is one of the most eagerly anticipated boxing bouts since the classic 1975 ‘Thrilla in Manila’ between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. However, both Mayweather at 37 and Pacquiao at 36 are in the twilight of their respective careers and most pundits say they have lost some of their skills in the ring.
