Read < 1 minute

(The Daily News) A judge has given a Brooklyn woman permission to file for divorce from her elusive husband via a Facebook message.

The ruling made by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper allowed  Ellanora Baidoo to divorce her husband.

The husband, Victor Sena Blood-Dzraku was to be served with the divorce summons through a private Facebook message. The message would be repeated once a week for three consecutive weeks or until Ellanora;s husband acknowledged.

Victor Sena Blood-Dzraku had moved out of their marital residence in Brooklyn and his address was not known for some years.

The couple married in 2009 in a civil ceremony and the relationship began to unravel when the defendant revoked  his promise to a traditional Ghanaian wedding ceremony.  Ellanora’s  lawyer made it clear that she only wanted a divorce and that money was not at stake.
