A fire has broken out at ASCON filling station, located at 240 Igbosere road, Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos State.
Commuters have abandoned their vehicles to flee the carnage as the raging inferno has spread to the roundabout and the bridge.
Information as to what caused the incidence has not been made known and the fire service are yet to arrive the scene. Commuters are also advised to take alternative routes.
