S. African Airways Considers Staff Cuts to Save Costs

The management at embattled government-owned South African Airways are considering staff cuts as part of a 90 day plan to save the airline. The acting CEO has had some success in steering the airline in the right direction. He’s saved around 50 million dollars by closing non profitable routes and by renegotiating contracts has saved another 8 million dollars. But as Angelo Coppola reports, his attention has now turned to human capital.
