Four people have been sentenced to death in Tanzania after being found guilty of killing a woman with Albinism.
Reports from Tanzania say, the court passed the judgment after saying the evidence they got was sufficient to show that they indeed commited the crime.
The court heard that the acussed people killed the woman for her body parts which they believe had special powers.
The murder of the women took place in 2008 in the Western region of Tanzania in Geita Town.
The victim is said to have been 22 years of age at the time of the murder.
Death penalty is still legal in Tanzania, but there have been no executions since 1994.
Tanzania has been struggling to stop killings of people with albinism who are targeted because potions made from their body parts are believed to bring good luck and wealth.
Prsident Jakaya Kikwete has vowed to end the killings of Albinos, which he says have brought shame to the country.
