Skilled carpenter upgrades his wooden E-car

A Chinese carpenter in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, has surprised his neighbors by hitting the road in his manually-made, battery-powered, wooden car.
48-year-old Liu Fulong finished his first ‪#‎wooden‬ ‪#‎electriccar‬ back in October, after spending about three months and over $3000 on it.

The upgraded car can carry two people now as opposed to just the driver. Liu says that it can run at the highest speed of 50 kilometers per hour, while earlier the top speed was 30 kilometers.woodcar 3

The new electric car is 2.5 meters long, 1.3 meters wide and weighs over 350kg. It can run up to 20 kilometers after each charge.
Liu, who only possesses a primary school education, has been a carpenter for three decades.
