In South Africa, a pioneering new method of fertility treatment is bringing hope to the lives of many infertile couples. The Shoebox IVF treatment as its commonly known is essentially a low cost low tech but a safer version of the expensive IVF treatments that can cost thousands of dollars to carry out. This simplified treatment has given renewed hope for many of those left marginalized and without the financial resources to afford assisted reproduction. CCTV’s Travers Andrews reports
