Nigeria Latest On Abducted Girls

Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan has asked the country’s parliament for an extension of the emergency rule he placed on three northeastern states, over the Boko Haram insurgency. The states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe had been under emergency rule since May last year.  The President now wants this extended by another six months. In the meantime, reactions have continued to pour in, following the video released by Boko Haram, showing the abducted schoolgirls. CCTV’s Deji Badmus has more
