South Africa: ANC Takes Early Lead with Over 60%

South Africa’s ruling African National Congress looks likely to hold onto its 60 per cent majority. That’s after the country went to the polls in its 5th general election on Wednesday. Official results are out on Saturday – but most votes have already been counted. Julius Malema’s Economic Freedom Fighters look set to become the third largest party in parliament.
