3 charged for burning the holy Quran in Tanzania

Three people appeared before a court in Tanzania for charges of burning the Holy Quran and Insulting the Islam among other related charges according to the Daily News.

The State Attorney prosecutor Shomari Haruna alleged that the accused persons committed the offences on November 14, 2016, at the Pool of Siloan Church, located at Pepsi Street in Bukoba Municipality.

The Resident Magistrate Charles Oisso allowed for the three to be released on bail of 224 USD with two sureties and adjourned the case to February 13, this year.
