Military delegations from 22 countries are in Egypt for the 2018 Bright Star military exercises.
The troops will conduct the drills for nearly three weeks, including ground, air and maritime trainings, aimed at enhancing international military cooperation.
Egypt included, the 23 military delegations participating in this year’s edition means it is the biggest Bright Star since its inception in 1980.
Cairo chose its largest Military base, near the Mediterranean sea, Mohamed Naguib to host the event.
All Participating countries will also discuss the processes of establishing joint military commands to facilitate a joint frame work for Armed forces of friendly countries to face common threats.
