20 Ghanaian lower court judges have been dismissed from their posts following allegations of corruption.

Earlier this year, Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas released a video apparently showing dozens of judges and their intermediaries accepting money to change court outcomes. The scandal has rocked faith in the justice system.

The implications of this scandal are far from over. There are still more than 10 High Court judges who’ve been temporarily suspended pending a further investigation, after which they will all face criminal prosecution.
