100 Chibok girls reportedly unwilling to return home

Read < 1 minute

A community leader in Chibok has reportedly said more than a hundred kidnapped schoolgirls wish to stay with their Boko Haram captors.

That is according to the AP news agency. Those girls have either been radicalized, are ashamed to return, or have died. The girls were kidnapped more than two years ago. Many of them have been forced to marry militants. That comes after 21 girls were freed from captivity and returned to their parents. Many say those girls risk being ostracized by their communities.

There are increased calls for them to be relocated.
