Chinese medical practitioners have for many years played a vital role in Africa’s health sector, leading to better health care in many parts of the continent.

In Cape Verde, Chinese doctors have been providing medical support since the 1980’s and are now a core part of the island’s health sector.

CGTN’s Lindy Mtongana sought these doctors in the capital Praia, and got to discuss some of the experiences of the doctors with the head of the mission.
